Chokeberry Juice Concentrate Description
This product is a highly concentrated version of the raw chokeberry in a convenient juice form. The Aroniaberries are harvested and the entire berry is squeezed into a liquid concentrate with no aditives. The antioxidant power comes from a group of natural nutrients found in aronia plants called Polyphenols. Scientists have found that Flavonoids, Polyphenols and Anthocyanins take part in suppressing or neutralizing free radicals and may prevent oxidative processes in the body.
Mix 1 and a half teaspoons twice a day with 8 ounces of water or the beverage of your choice.
Dr. Terry Wahls talks about aronia berries and health
I am personally an aronia fan. I plant 20 aronia berry bushes my garden. The oldest plants are three year old.
My personal experience with aronia is that it is really easy to plant. I just add mulch of grass and pine leaves (which is the easiest find in my garden) two times a year. The plants haven’t suffered from any deceases yet, but last year they were hardly affected by severe drought. Fortunately all plants survived.
There is no need to harry with a harvest. Aronia berries can stay on brunches for two months after they are ready for consumption (which happens in August). This year I am going to freeze berries and blend them during winter months or mix with juices.
If you have an area to plant aronias it is very easy and they are nice looking bushes. Here are the pictures of my aronias bellow.
